David Bloom is an engineer and educator, entrepreneur and investor in innovative technology ventures. He has been a founder or principal in 13 startups, and advisor or boardmember for dozens more.
As Executive Director of Pointe Angels, David leads Michigan's most active early-stage investment club, with a broad portfolio of data-science, hard-tech, clean-tech, and life-science ventures.
David taught Financing Technology Commercialization (FIN-629) at the Michigan Ross School of Business; Innovation Leadership (SI-663) at the U-M School of Information; and Interpersonal Entrepreneurship (UC-270) at U-M Innovate Blue. He mentors students through U-M’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Program
